Pinterest project/upcycle

Finally after hours and days of being glued to Pinterest repining and saying ill make that and that and this and that! but never have the time or forget i finally finished one yes I Danielle finished!!! haha   I have lots of or DIY, crafts, sewing projects to finish and soon post!!!

For now here are 2 of them that I finished. first one is a onesie turned into a bubble dress super cute and perfect for all that onesies that are a tad bit snug at the bottom. i found this dress at Make it and Love it go check it out and if you want to make a cute bubble dress go on over and check out her tutorial =]

Here is my bubble dress its not perfect but like my boyfriend told me "doesn't practice make perfect" lol

The next one is making a ladies regular shirt into a girls dress. I got this from Snug as a Bug Baby click if you want to see the tutorial or also check out her blog which has some cute stuff too!

Toddle Along Tuesday- Jobs, past present & future.

Let's start with the past, my first ever job was at target I was there over a year I loved it taught me a lot I was trained every where food, sales, guest service, back room and cashier I even got to help closed target and open the new one because we moved to bigger location! I made so many friends and also met my boyfriend there which we are still together and have out daughter now =] over 4 years together! I will say that Target is an awesome first job.


next was Little Caesars I only lasted a few months and quit never will I work for them.  Staples was my last job I loved this one almost as much as target made more great friends and I got to learn more I worked in the copy & print center and there was so much to learn and remember I loved it! Now lets talk about the present..


December 09 was my last time there then found out Feb. 1st 2010 that my life was gonna change and I just got hired to my new job... Stay at home mom! My first official day was Aug. 28th 2010 and my boss is still this lovely little face below <3 

Future/dream job is a pre-school/kindergarten teacher or opening up my own daycare/pre-school center =]

The first time I ever picked up a camera and pushed the shutter button was when I was in 4th grade. I took pictures for my science project it was on bubble bath. My friends dad told me wow these are really good you took some good photos. When he told me that I felt so special and I've always had that comment in my head till this day and thought could I maybe one day be a photographer?

Back then it was film and I was young and my family couldn't afford cameras I don't think we ever owned one.  On special occasions my mom would buy a disposable one and more than half the time never get them developed till years later lol. So I never got to really play around with a camera and those were just point and shoot no settings or anything. The photos we did had i loved looking at something about a photo that always made me smile all the memories that flashed though my head just by looking at one picture it always amazed me. Like they say a picture says a thousand words!

As I got older and technology got more advance that's when the digital camera came out with the LCD screen where you could see your picture which was awesome and  of course would be expensive. I begged my mom for a camera and on Christmas my sophomore year of high school I got one it was the coolest thing to me at the time lol it was 3 mega pixels I think 1 1/2 inch screen it had video but wasn't too great and to me the pictures where good it captured all my family and friends moments I wanted. =]

I got tired of that one it was too slow for me the screen was too small and I wanted better mega pixels so I saved up money and bought myself a new one 5mp and a 2inch screen fast okay video it was perfect i used that all my junior and senior year i loved it. it took many falls and still worked like a charm for me (i still have it just for memories and it still works) thanks to that camera I have so many photos to always look back at. I love taking pictures of everyone it was fun and when ppl liked what i captured it made me feel all good inside =]

I got tired of recharging and buying new batteries all the time and then for valentines day 08 my boyfriend Xavier bought me my first canon camera 10mp 3in screen and awesome video sound. That camera got no rest it went everywhere with me I filled up my memory cards so fast! I used it for my shows i went to i never complained about that camera it was always attached to me everyone knew they didn't have to worry about bringing a camera if danielle was coming haha i even had two batteries and chargers you never know lol
I also took one photography class in college 08 and it was film black and white thats when i first got to play around with a slr beautiful canon camera that class is when i said to myself this is lots of fun and i wasnt too bad at it either so thats when it took off and i took even more pictures and always using what i learn in all my photos one my lil point and shoot camera  =] since that class all i wanted was a dslr i asked every christmas and birthday for one i even tried to save up for one but never got it =\

my lovely point and shoot canon sadly that one got stolen very sad day for me =\ so my picture taking days were over for awhile untill Xavie my life saver bought me a new one for Christmas 09 a sony 12 mp and still awesome video/sound. I still have it and still use it! the day I found out i was pg i was so excited that i would have so much more practice in shooting my belly and my new baby. for the first year of her life thats the camera i used for all her photos. I always got compliments on them which i loved and thats when i decide im gonna really try this photography again and really teach myself and practice. So finally Christmas 2011 i finally got my dream camera its not the most expensive but it doesn't even matter its beautiful to me and does everything i want and takes amazing photos =] I love my canon T3 im always messing with all its functions, reading blogs and learning new things everyday on what my camera can do and what i can do it really makes me happy its fun i love it and maybe one day i could have my own photography studio or even sell some photos because as much as i love shooting people there is nothing more beautiful then nature <3

till then when people want pictures done im always raising my hand first for more practice and experience =]

Fresno Chaffee Zoo

Zoo? Who doesn't love a trip to a Zoo? I've taken Khaila to quite a few Zoos.  Santa Ana Zoo, Reid Park Zoo, La Zoo, later sometime San Diego Zoo!! and now Fresno Chaffee Zoo.

It was cheap only 7 bucks khaila was free and it was a perfect little zoo just the right amount of animals not too much walking the animals really seemed happy which was a plus and Khaila really enjoined herself and getting to see all the animals I've been working on with her <3 

Of course i have pictures so enjoy some of these too =]

Day 2 no pacifier

Day one's nite time was horrible over the top crying for an hour making herself gag, rolling back and forth hitting her bed kicking her feet i felt so bad but i stuck with it and finally she calm down and came to me and snuggled and fell asleep.

Day 2 she did great threw away both pacifiers i had out for her that where cut. her dad took her to raging waters so i dont know how nap time was for him then he did this to me.. i was so mad he text me while i was at dland with my friend this picture his mom got her a new minne and pluto one super cute but no!!!! i made him take it from her and put it away i felt like a bad mom but i had to stick to what ive been doing. and just to show you dad always suck when it comes to trying to do something like take bottles, pacifiers, or even potty training =\

when i got home she was sleeping so i dont know how bedtime was for Dad but he didnt say anything so i take it it wasnt bad. it is now morning of day 3 and she hasnt even asked for it =]

4th of July - Toddle along Tuesday (warning lots of photos)

This is perfect I get two post done in one <3 Im pretty excited about this one too because our 4th of July was a lot of fun! so lets get started. I have a friend named Heidi we have been friends since high school and after high school she moved to Visilia, Ca ive never had the money or time to visit her and this year she just got a house and invited us over for a 4th of July BBQ so we got all packed and the road trip begin =]  (video of the whole trip will be up soon )  We got up there on the 3rd  we went to the zoo but thats a later post and that night we went to Woodlake's twilight park and they had food trucks, bands playing, beer garden, games, bounce houses, and then at the end fireworks! That was a lot of fun and I already knew khaila would love the fireworks because of the dodger game and Disneyland ones.

The next day which was the 4th of July that was the BBQ  it  was super hot  so we set up the slip and slide, water table and pool for the kids khaila loved it. yummy food and when it got dark did out own fireworks and enjoined so sparklers =] It was a fun day and nite couldn't had asked for a better Celebration

As for traditions we don't really have any besides no matter what we watch fireworks <3 usually i do things with my family but this year was a lil different so it was weird not to be with my family but i still had a blast <3

Toddle Along Tuesday = (late) summer fun

I was out of town for this week on the summer fun topic so decided to do it now =]

Over in southern California its usually nice but lately its been hotter then usually and to stay cool and some summer fun here are a few things i do with khaila =]


i HATE being stuck at home and i like to take khaila out and do things try to have everyday as a new adventure for us. We have a raging waters season pass and a Disneyland pass. on nice cool days we go to dland in the afternoon and walk around get on a few rides and leave when it gets dark. 


on super hot days i do the following


Raging waters they have a kid section and she loves the slides they have for her she can spend all day going up and down those slides she also just loves water and splashing and jumping and swimming so thats always a good time for us <3 she may not be smiling but she is having a blast she is just so serious sometimes lol 

Pool fun is one of her number one things to do i mean who doesn't love the pool. Now that she can swim with her floaties she loves it even more =]  its also relaxing for me to just sit there and swim around with her and cool down and just enjoy watching her smile and have a great time she is even socializing more with the kids in the pool =] 

When the pool is too packed we go over to grandma's house for water fun in her lil backyard. its perfect just to hangout there visit & just watch her have fun. At my house we have her water table which im thinking of taking over there. we also just bought this really cute Dora sprinkler she hasnt used it yet so photos soon =] 

When we have it planned and enough gas money we take a trip to the beach <3 now what can i say about the beach? sandcastles, tanning, waves, writing in the sand, running from the waves haha the best part is khaila loves the beach and has a blast =] 

on any other day we r feeling lazy we put the ac on and watch tv all day and eat ice cream <3
