18 months... 1 1/2 years old

Crazy how fast time flies.. my baby girl is now a lil toddler and in 6 months we will be having another bday party wow 2 years!! i still feel like i just took her home. i miss her being so small i want to do it all over again and teach her everything again!

i hate that they grow so fast i want a pause button please hehe

DISNEYLAND 365 DAYS

So on Feb. 25, 2012 My little family became annual pass holders <3 we are so excited to visit all khaila's favorite Disney character and when we are bored we can just take a Disney trip =] My really awesome friend  Jackie also got hers the same day so we can take our babies together or if we want to do couples we can do couples! 2012 will be fun! here are a few photos from the day we were only there for awhile mostly to get our passes and get the kids out <3 

my career

so ive always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, when i was little i use to always play school and i would be the teacher and my brother the student ha it was always fun i enjoined it. then i said i wanted to be a child psychologist so thats what i majored in but then it just wasnt for me like i love everything about it so interesting but just wasnt what i wanted for my career everyday thing.

my mom has always told me that im very creative and crafty and i am i love doing arts and crafts too! in hs i took child development and one semester we had a pre school and got to have a child, make lesson plans, and teach and play with the kids it was lots of fun so from there i enrolled in a class to get my certificate to work in day cares and pre school but ended up not finishing for dance and musical (biggest mistake) i hate myself everyday for not finishing!

then i got pregnant so i stopped going to school since i was on bed rest mostly  my whole pregnancy and at that no transportation =\

now since i have been babysitting its making me go back to thinking i can do this and this is what i want to do its so fun playing with khaila and aiden and doing lil crafts with them i love it and i hate when its time for him to leave  ha i ask my mom if i was crazy for wanting more kids to watch lol she said no that what u enjoy =]

then theres photography i love it photos are my life i have thousands of pictures so much i had to get another hard drive! ha so i was thinking i could go to school get my pre school certificate and get a job as im working finsh school and get my teaching credentials and take some photography classes and do that on the side hobby and extra money =] after so many years ive finally decided what i want to do! i wish i would had know before instead of wasting so much time and making all the mistakes i did...

visit =]

 Yesterday one of my friends came to visit we became friends when we were pregnant with our daughters we don't see each other often but still keep in touch since she now lives 6 hrs away but she came down and visit last night cause she was in town for some things. Last time i saw her and her daughter was in the summer and our daughters weren't even 1 yet or walking. they are 2 months apart khaila is older but smaller/shorter ha. khaila is now 18months old and Sophia is 16 months old so they got to play yesterday here is my favorite pic of them..

Big Girl Now!

Khaila will be 18 months on the 28th of this month and she has been showing me some interest in potty training she always goes to the bathroom with me and pretends to wipe her self and throw it in the toilet then when she has to go poop she goes in this tent she has and goes in there so she knows when she has to. if she doesnt have milk before bed she stays dry most of the time. I know a lot of it is her mimicking me, but i felt i could start to introduce it to her so i went out and bought a potty chair for her and we turned her crib into a toddler bed and bought her a toddler bed set. yesterday was the first day that i decide to show her so we got home and i sat her on her potty well i went to the restroom. she just sat there talking away ha then i was done i tried to get her off she didn't want to so i waited a few more mins and all of sudden i heard music ha she peed! her potty makes music when she goes. she started dancing on there and i told her yay and she gave me high five. she was super excited it was soo cute. 

she knows when i say u have to go pee pee she walks to the restroom =] 

Last night was also her first night in her new big girl bed. by the way she loves her new bed and the fact that she can get on and off it =] She did great she slept thur the night and has had her naps perfectly fine. i am one proud mommy <3

im not fully training her just introducing it to her so she still has diapers on i take her to the potty when i have to go, before she goes to sleep and when she wakes up. So far yesterday was her first time peeing and today when she woke up from her nap she peed again =] 

Arizona Trip

We went to Arizona for a trip to go see old friends and family the most important one my nana <3 (grandma, khaila's great grandma) it was a 7 hour drive and khaila did soo well she napped thru must of the ride and when she was up she was just playing and talking to herself and my brother and sister. she got cranky 2 times once cause she needed a diaper change and the other cause we were already on the road for 5 1/2 hrs she needed to get out!!! i think she did very well for the long ride and her being only 1yr 1/2. both ways by the way =]

the trip was a lot of fun zoo,shopping eating friends family i hate leaving cause i always miss my nana but theres no place like home and California <3
