Toddle Along Tuesday: whats in my diaper bag

So this is what my diaper bag looks like pretty much everyday.

It's very simple small but fits just what i need.. keep in mind i do have two others but they are bigger and i used them more when she was a tiny baby. This one I got at big lots for only 8 bucks haven't had any problems its perfect for me =]

 The fun stuff all the stuff I fit into the little bag <3

1. Snacks, some type of Gerber finger snack, lil crunchies veggie dip is her favorite, the puffs any flavor or the arrowroot cookies./ in the munchkin snack catcher we usually have gold fish or cheez-its.
2.    I always bring two sippy cups usually a straw one empty or with water and another regular sippy  with milk or juice.
3. Baby powder and Desitin 
4. pacifier wipes, boggie wipes, and disposable diaper bags love all three <3 
5. extra clothes and bib
6. this is my lil first aide kit haha thermometer, baby sunscreen, baby nail clippers, and Day &Night oral gel 
7. some type of little toy we have her princess phone right now
8. wipes
9. extra pacifier just in case!
10. Diapers we can only use huggies.. luvs works okay for her too.

I guess for my little bag i still manage to pack a lot =]

he is just a little extra it doesnt go in the diaper bag but she always brings one or the other with us =]

Potty Training

Fisher-Price Princess Potty Training Seat

So I started introducing Khaila to it around 18 months we bought her a really cute potty chair its a 3 in 1 and plays princess music when shes goes then its says yay!!! its super cute the seat comes off and can be used on the adult toilet also when u close the lid its a step stool for either the adult toilet or to wash hands/ brush teeth.  She loves her chair and uses it to brush her teeth more than anything but every time i go to the restroom she will sit on her potty and pretend lol. She has peed in it twice and claps and dances when she hears the music its super cute and she gets super excited i love it <3  i did post about this before here is the link..click here okay so since we visit my mom a lot and she babysits a lot i was thinking of giving her this one and buying this minnie mouse one and khaila loves minnie it has the same features as the princess one so its perfect.

Thats its for the potty chairs i also was looking up an app for my phone and i found the Huggies pull-ups igo potty app which also they have a website it's awesome.

Just a few things about the app that i like is you can set a timer for how ever many minutes/hours that works the best for your potty training schedule and with that you chose a cute little ringtone. Also the fact its easy to use and keep track of their progress and each time they go they get a reward which is a sticker and after so many they unlock a game =] 

The website also has lots of good information from how to start, starting and the journey from the accidents to the yays. 

It even has a getting started check-list now tell me who doesn't love check lists? i know i love them! They have a custom progress tracker where you can print stickers too =]

After I have read almost everything on that website i feel a lot better to start this journey in  potty training!! wish me luck <3

Candy, eggs, basket oh my!

EASTER 2012

April 8th 2012 was Khaila's 2nd Easter and as I have said I have been staying with my mom due to her surgery. I did not have time to take her to go visit the easter bunny this year but here is her last year <3 We started with Saturday that's when we color eggs and we visit her Grandma Lisa (xavie's mom). she enjoyed it more this year than last lol last year she just wanted to put the egg in her mouth this year she actually was trying to color them she did once try to drink the dye...  here are some photos from that day. This outfit was made by me her mommy <3 shirt and ribbon was from the 99cent store and fabric from Jo-ann =]

The next morning which was Easter! we wait for her daddy to go over she was dressed and ready and waiting to open her Easter basket =] she had fun opening it too and actually knew to open it lol

here is a fun picture from last year to this year how much she has changed and my lil princess is getting so big and will always be soo beautiful!!

1st year 2011 and this year 2012 

After the opening of the basket we hide eggs in my moms lil backyard for her at first she didn't know what to do but as soon as she figured it out she was having so much fun and found all 12 eggs<3 

After her first egg hunt at grandmas we got her in her wagon and walked to other grandmas house for the Easter party/BBQ. she got to run around everywhere eat and play. she had lots of fun with the water gun and thought it was the funniest thing when i squirt her dad! Then we did the 2nd Easter hunt and she got to go first before all the kids so she can have her own lil time =] she gots lots of eggs filled with candy and found 3 money eggs with a dollar in each one. (any money she gets we put into her piggy bank) . after she got to hit the pinata which didn't interest her much same with her bday lol. all in all she we had a pretty good/successful Easter of 2012 <3 enjoy the rest of the photos!

Day. 8 Bad Habit

Yes biting my nails has always been one of my bad habits i do it all the time and more when I'm nervous. 

Exploring Nature in Grandma's Backyard

I have been wanting to post this for awhile but just haven't had the time.. So here it is, a few days ago, no, okay lets start with a few weeks ago I went to Ihop with my friend Jackie and with the kids menu came a bookmark paper from the movie the Lorax and it had seeds to plant a tree. That's when the idea popped in my head plant those along with some flowers since spring is on its way plus it would be a really fun thing to do with Khaila =] So after breakfast Khaila and I went to the 99cent store and got all the supplies we needed; soil, pots, and flower seeds (9 for a dollar ) oh also got a cute little watering can for Khaila haha. So we went home and since it was a nice day out with the sun shining we planted right away. She had lots of fun playing the soil and after I let her water them and she did pretty well learning how to. I suck and didn't get a picture of her only videos and I don't feel like editing. Haha I have been keeping track of my plants  I didn't think i would grow anything but i did and i was super excited here is after a couple of days for sure less than a week one started to sprout. It's looks big but they are really small.. I planted a total of two trees from the Ihop thing, and 3 different types of flowers the snapdragons are the first ones to start sprouting which is below.

 I am not gonna lie I'm super proud of myself for taking care of them and not forgetting to water them <3 and  Khaila loves to see them as they grow she thinks its so cool. Every day I swear they get bigger and bigger but I know its not a big change. lol These are last photos I've taken and they were taken on Friday. See growing! 

    

    

I haven't taken pics yet of them now but they are taller and sprouting more its amazing how nature is I've never done this before so its pretty exciting <3

OKAY now some fun starts ha so about a few days ago Khaila, my sister, and I were outside just messing around and i was helping my sister plant her own flowers and we found a rollie pollie I haven't played with one in forever probably since i was very little. So showed it Khaila and she love it and wasn't scared of it at all she did want to eat it but i told her that it was a bug not food lol here are some photos of her and her first rollie pollie.

Then my sister lifted up a rock and we found a warm and snails haha and here is what we got =]

I would say that we had a good time in the backyard of my mama's/Khaila's grandma's backyard.
